September 22, 2014:

Today we began to consider who speaks for us. We watched the TED talk below and considered how JR speaks for many who do not have a voice. We will continue the conversation next class.

Students worked in groups to come up with FIVE people who they felt speak for this generation of young people. Students were asked to list the name AND why and how they felt that this person speaks for this generation. Lists will be presented in class on Wednesday.

Homework: due Sept 24

Ensure that your list is complete and that you have effectively explained your selections. Each group member must present, so you may wish to determine who will present which figure. Marks will be given /5 for these mini-presentations.
